Where to hear classic live music this July 4th

The 4th of July personal celebrations are back! We’ve compiled a list of places across the state to see and hear live classic music and celebrate the holiday! WHAT: Spend your weekend away with great music from the AP and wonderful food and drink from the Breckenridge Brewery! We celebrate Independence Day with symphonic classics from rodeo and William Tell to the Overture from 1812, American greetinge, and Stars and Stripes forever. Also on show are movie and video game favorites like John Williams’ war of stars and music by Assassin’s Creed by local composer Austin Wintory. This evening celebrating the American spirit, culture and ingenuity will be crowned with fireworks! You don’t want to miss it!

WHEN: July 3rd at 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Breckenridge Brewery Littleton | 2920 Brewery Ln, Littleton, CO

WHAT: FREE concert on July 4th at the Benedict Music Tent! The annual free celebration on July 4th brings the AMFS Band onto the tent stage with sweeping patriotic favorites. Tickets are free and can be reserved from June 28th at 12 noon, or patrons can get one at the door one hour before the concert starts, if available. The performance lasts 75 minutes and there is no break. Please check the “Concert protocols“Before signing up for the latest protocols.

WHERE: Benedict music tent | 960 North 3rd Street Aspen, CO

Concert will be broadcast live on Aspen Public Radio.

WHAT: Celebrate July 4th with Independence Day symphonic classics, from Copland to William Tell, and the 1812 Overture in the historic Boulder Bandshell. Also on display is the music from Star Wars by John Williams and Gregory TS Walker’s music for rapper and orchestra. This event is part of the Arts in the Park series in collaboration with the City of Boulder.

WHERE: Boulder band shell | 1212 Canyon Boulevard, Boulder

WHAT: Bravo! Vail and the Vail Valley Foundation are jointly hosting the Annual Patriotic Concert on July 4th to benefit the Vail Veterans Program. The DALLAS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA with Jeff Tyzik, Conductor and Byron stripling, Trumpet.

Ticket sales begin on July 1, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater’s box office. Tickets will also be available online from 11:00 a.m. and are limited. There are a maximum of four tickets per person. Access to the lawn is free on the day of the concert, depending on who comes first, first served. For more information, visit grfavail.com.

WHERE: Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater | 503 S Frontage Rd E, Vail, CO

WHAT: Celebrate the Stars and Stripes with your Colorado Symphony on Independence Day! On a fine evening against the backdrop of Lake Dillon, this program features your favorite contemporary music, including Armed Forces Salute, Stars and Stripes Forever, the 1812 Overture, God Bless America, and an array of your favorite hits from stage and screen. Tickets for this event are FREE, but you have to reserve your place.

WHEN: July 4th at 4 p.m. (entry at 3 p.m.)

WHERE: Dillon Outdoor Amphitheater | 201 W Lodgepole St, Dillon, CO

WHAT: FREE Concert The DMB Concert Band’s annual Patriotic Concert is sponsored by City Council District 6, City Councilor Paul Kashmann

WHEN: July 4th at 7pm

WHERE: Washington Park in Denver

WHAT: On July 4th, spend the afternoon hiking, biking, pedal boating, mini golf, or attending the Coolest Car Show. At 7 p.m. it is Estes village band tunes in for its annual patriotic concert featuring the works of John Philip Sousa and others. Attending the concert is free and takes place in the Performance Park Amphitheater at the western end of the city center. The fireworks show starts over at 9:30 pm Lake Estes. You won’t want to miss one of Colorado’s most glorious fireworks! Find a grassy spot at Stanley Park, along the Lake Estes Trail, or on your favorite mountainside to partake in this annual tradition of national pride.

WHERE: Performance Park Amphitheater | 435 W Elkhorn Ave, Estes Park, CO

WHAT: The Fort Collins Symphony & Holiday Twin present: Liberty Marches On | Drive-in movie: Rocky

Premium VIP Package – 6:00 p.m. Entrance, reserved parking space in screen 1. First rows 1-3. Premium entry lane. $ 100 for each person in the same car. | 5-course gourmet menu on a small plate, premium wines & beers + popcorn & snacks to enjoy at tables near the stage.

Standing room – 6:30 p.m. entrance, first come, first served parking lot | $ 40 for four people per vehicle + $ 10 for each additional person up to six people.

WHAT: America’s birthday spectacle! What better setting than Rainbow Park in Silverthorne, Colorado to present our annual concert on July 4th? Against the backdrop of the “Purple Mountain Majesty”, we are delighted to be able to honor America again with our annual patriotic greeting. Then we repeat our concert in the Riverwalk Center in Breckenridgewhere crowded crowds have enjoyed our July 4th programs since 1993. Our traditional selections include the Armed Forces Salute, Patriotic Sing Along, The Stars and Stripes Forever, and more. Tickets linked above.
