Vivint Arena offers free jazz tickets during the COVID-19 vaccine clinic

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) – Would you like to participate a Utah Jazz Play for free? You have to roll up your sleeves and get one Covid-19 vaccination.

The Jazz, in partnership with the University of Utah Health, will hold a community vaccination clinic. The first 50 people to receive a vaccination will receive two free tickets to a future jazz game.

The vaccination clinic and health fair will take place on Friday, October 29th, from 2pm to 5pm at the main entrance of. instead of Vivint Arena. Parking at Park Place across from Vivint is free. In addition, the free rate is available from the Utah Transit Authority for vaccination appointments.

The COVID-19 vaccines are free and you don’t need insurance to get your dose. Nomi Health provides the vaccines. Organizers say the first and second doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, as well as the Johnson & Johnson single shot, will be available.

Masks are required at the vaccination stations within the arena. If you already have a vaccination card, you should definitely bring it with you. While free jazz tickets are only available to the first 50 people to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, additional prizes will be given to the next 50 participants.

Vivint Arena currently requires proof of vaccination in order to be able to attend games, concerts and shows. The requirement has prompted a fully vaccinated legislature Boycott jazz games.
