Cancer in our community fair tomorrow

Community members and their friends and families are expected to flock to Holiday Harbor Park tomorrow (Saturday) to attend and donate for the inaugural Cancer in Our Community Cancer Fair. Musical entertainment will take over the amphitheater stage throughout the day and night, food trucks, beer trucks, vendors and special speakers will fill the day.

The Canyon Lake Fair is sponsored by the Canyon Lake Veterans and First Responders Club and admission is free.

Events begin at 10:00 am with a Cancer Walk beginning and ending at Holiday Harbor. Those wishing to join the hike simply need to show up at the park.

The cancer prevention and sales booths open at 11:00 p.m., as does the Zapfwagen Temecula beer and wine booth. Beer and wine tickets will be sold during the event which will help raise money for cancer philanthropy in our community. Tap Truck Temecula has partnered with Michelle’s Place and the Canyon Lake Veterans and First Responders group to be the official host of this event. The stands remain open until 4:00 p.m. The JK Catering Food Truck is on site throughout the day offering a range of gourmet dishes and desserts for purchase for lunch and dinner.

The Holiday Harbor Amphitheater features live entertainment throughout the day. Beginning at 11:00am, Code 415 will perform their music from the 1970s and 1980s, followed by Crimson Jazz at 1:30pm. Crimson Jazz is a 10-piece high school jazz band. Steel Canyon concludes the evening at 5 p.m. with two hours of rock hits
