The Warsaw Salvation Army Relief Society and Lake City Bank are working together to raise funds for the victims of the tornadoes that struck Kentucky and Illinois on December 10th.
According to a Salvation Army press release, the Salvation Army Disaster Service has been on site since the storms to provide service to the needy and the relief workers. Due to a lack of storage space, only financial donations are currently accepted. Funds are also being spent in this area to help trade rebound.
Donations can be made at any Lake City Bank branch in Kosciusko and Whitley counties through January
“We appreciate the support of Lake City Bank in helping“ others ”with this long-term recovery in Kentucky and Illinois,” said Ambassador Ken Locke, local Salvation Army administrator. “All funds will be used for relief efforts while we pray for healing in the Heartland.”
