Smiles and surprises will fill the theaters when Alan Kazam brings his unique blend of magic and laugh-out-loud comedy to the Tibbits Popcorn Theater July 1-2 at the Tibbits Opera House in Coldwater.
Full of audience participation, Kazam will delight viewers of all ages. He brings over 30 years of experience performing across the country. Locally, he has performed on stage at Devos Performance Hall, Kalamazoo State Theater and Firekeepers Casino. He was also the wizard of choice for Derek Jeter and his Turn2 Foundation, as well as PJ Fleck and the WMU Championship Football Team. Magician Alan Kazam will perform for two performances on July 1st and 2nd at 10am.
A great lineup continues through August 10 with performances of The Jungle Book, Patrica Polacco’s Union City and Classic Cartoon Cavalcade. All performances at Tibbits Popcorn Theater are at 10:00 am on Fridays and Saturdays. Guests are treated to complimentary popcorn and juice during intermission. Popcorn is donated by Ed Lake, juice by McDonalds: The Maynard Organization.
New this year, the Popcorn Theater will have reserved seating. Tickets are $10 including fees and are available online at Tibbits.org, at the Tibbits Admin Office at 93 W. Chicago Street, weekdays 9 am to 5 pm, by phone at (517) 278-6029, or at the box office one hour beforehand available any performance. A setup/ticketing fee applies to all tickets, whether in person or not; There are no additional fees for ordering online. Group and family rates are available from as few as five tickets.
