Charitable projects inspired by World Cleanup Day
HOUSTON, September 21, 2021 / PRNewswire / – LyondellBasell (NYSE: LYB) volunteers around the world participated in Aug.nd annual Global Care Day, a company-wide service day for employees and their families. on September 18Also on World Cleaning Day, LyondellBasell volunteers helped improve floodplain management and water quality, clean up plastic and trash, plant trees and gardens, and educate school children about sustainability.

Some of the charitable projects for LyondellBasell Global Care Day included:
Contribution to the improvement of the floodplain management and the water quality in the main and secondary canals of Mühlbach in Greater Cincinnati as part of the Mill Creek Cleanup.
Lake Charles, Louisiana
Cooperation with the City of Lake Charles Replant trees along a trail that were damaged or removed during Hurricanes Laura and Delta in 2020.
Cleaning up plastic waste with the Swachh Pune-Swachh Bharat group around the Mula-Mutha River, which accumulated after the monsoons in July.
Participated in a community clean-up of Yangcheng Lake Park and educated children who helped in the effort on how to classify rubbish.
Since 2018, LyondellBasell employees have spent more than 43,000 hours enriching their communities during Global Care Day.
