Store hosts open house Christmas

GOSHEN – Cycle Works of Goshen invites the public to attend the store’s 19th Annual Open House Christmas Party on December 18 at 1210 E. Lincoln Avenue. The event starts at noon.

Snacks and holiday drinks are served. There are discounts in the branches and raffles for door prizes throughout the day. Cycle Works offers motorcycle, snowmobile, ATV and scooter parts, accessories and service.

Wölfer, Gasper promoted to Thor

ELKHART – Todd Woelfer has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Thor Industries.

Woelfer joined Thor in 2012 and has served in a number of roles including General Counsel. As COO, he will lead a number of corporate initiatives, including innovation and data strategies, marketing, corporate sustainability, and responsibility to maximize performance and synergies from existing and future acquisitions, and will lead strategic corporate initiatives, the company said in a press release.

At the same time, the company announced the promotion of Trevor Gasper to Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. Gasper joined the company in 2017 after 12 years in a private company focusing on representing RV manufacturers including Thor.

Nuway construction

has new project managers

GOSHEN – Nuway Construction announced two new hires.

Cody Smith

Cody Smith joined Nuway Construction as a project manager. Originally from Goshen, Smith earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Ball State University in 2018. He has worked in both Indianapolis hardware stores and Muncie. At Nuway, he will oversee the construction of various projects and work with clients, subcontractors and team members to ensure each project is completed on budget and on time. He and his wife live in Elkhart.

Tony Bogard joined Nuway Construction as Senior Project Manager. After receiving his BS in Civil Engineering and Management Technology from Purdue University in 2009, Bogard led large and high profile projects in the South Bend and Mishawaka areas. At Nuway, he will work with clients, subcontractors and industry experts.

The company receives certification as a minority company

Write Connections is owned by a minority group and the certification confirms the company’s commitment to the diversity and inclusion of the ecosphere, the company said in a press release.

Jimenez Appointed Assistant Retail Banking Officer

WARSAW – Lake City Bank has appointed Alma R. Jimenez as the Assistant Retail Banking Officer in their Goshen South office.

Jimenez assists the office manager in providing quality services and building customer relationships. She also helps manage the day-to-day running of the office and takes care of consumer and small business loans. She has been with the bank for seven years.
