Job Seeker Assistance Center in Southwest Riverside County

MENIFEE, CA – Job seekers in southwest Riverside County can get job search help at the recently opened Temporary Menifee Workforce Development Center in Menifee.

The center opened last week and offers career coaching, resume writing help, job search help, specialized training, skills development, special recruiting events and workshops for individuals.

It is located in the recently upgraded computer room at Kay Ceniceros Senior Center, 29995 Evans Rd., And is open by appointment only on Thursdays from 1pm to 5pm.

Officials said there are plans to extend the center’s opening hours to 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesdays later this fall.

The center works for free.

Funding for the program came from a community development bloc grant made available to Menifee through the CARES Act and federal funding for the Riverside County Workforce Development Department.

“The Temporary Menifee Workforce Development Center is working synergistically with the City’s Job Blueprint Plan and the Comprehensive Economic Development (CEDS) Plan to continue to position Menifee as a growth and job creation leader in the region,” said Manager Armando Villa. “We have worked hard to create partnerships to harness and develop the resources our businesses and residents both need to thrive and thrive.”
