Dr. Craig Allen Bradford – Mississippi’s best community newspaper

June 29, 1955 – June 19, 2021

NATCHEZ – Dr. Craig Allen Bradford died on June 19, 2021 of an accident on his farm near his former home, Mount Olive Plantation in Natchez. He was 65 years old. Craig was born on June 29, 1955 in Greenville, MS to Clifton R. Bradford and Jean Ann Milhorn Bradford. He married Barbara Lynn McNeely of Natchez on June 5, 1976 in Natchez. They have two sons, Chase and Cole.

Craig earned a BS in Biology from Mississippi State University in 1977, a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Mississippi in 1981, and completed a residency in Pediatric Dentistry in 1983 at the Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah Rotary Clubs of Natchez, the Mississippi and American Dental Association, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and Fellow Diplomates of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He served on the Britton and Koontz Bank boards of directors for 27 years. Craig provided dental care to the children of Natchez and the surrounding communities for 37 years.

He leaves behind his wife, Lynn, son, Chase Allen Bradford, and daughter-in-law, Leslie Anne Harkness, and their children, Matthew and Elizabeth, of Camp Lejeune, NC; and his son Cole Bentley Bradford and daughter-in-law Whitney Ballard Bradford and their children Hayes and Ella Blair of Natchez; his father, Clifton R. Bradford of Greenville, MS; his sister Sarah Francis Bradford Womack (Sancy) from Dumas, MS; and sister-in-law Robin McNeely Hitt from Louisville, KY.

Craig had previously died from his mother, Jean Milhorn Bradford of Greenville, MS.

The service will be held at Jefferson Street United Methodist Church on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 12:00 noon. The tour takes place from 10:30 a.m. until service time. The funeral director is the Laird Funeral Home of Natchez.

Craig lived a life of determination, achievement, camaraderie, community service, and love and dedication for his family. We will miss him very much and will be fondly remembered.
