Bigfoot believer? Hunter excited about what happened at Rimrock Lake

He remains a mystery.

Bigfoot, Sasquatch, and Yeti are all names used to identify a type of mythical creature reportedly seen in many regions of the country. Washington State has by far the most “sightings” of any state in the Union. Why? Did you see him? Do you believe it?

Bigfoot encounter near Rimrock Lake in Yakima County

One of the close encounters we had here in the Greater Yakima area was in June 2019. The Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization is a great resource and has a rich collection of such sightings and encounters from around the country. BFRO provided these first-hand testimonies of what happened near Rimrock Lake that summer day:

Heard at least four howls at the campgrounds in Silver Beach between 4-5am in the morning. The sounds were about a mile away but could be heard clearly in the morning. Thought it was wildlife or maybe a person. Then I checked YouTube for a video of people using a parabolic sonic dish to record Sasquatch vowel sounds when I got back home. Was able to identify the sounds from the video from what I had heard. It was an awful sound. The best way to describe it was a howl between a human and a monkey.

The audio recorded during this event in Yakima County sounds eerily similar to some of the sounds heard during the second episode of Sasquatch Chronicles season one.

LOOK: The states with the most UFO sightings

For each state we have also included details of famous UFO sightings in that state. Notably, nearly three quarters of all reports of UFO sightings in the United States occur between 4pm and midnight, peaking between 9pm and 10pm.
